Message It looks like you have a stock clutch? Eek, you'll do one launch and it'll start to slip. You have two options:

1. Put on MT ET Streets, rev to 5k and drop the clutch
OR
2. Lower the tire pressure - maybe 20# or so - I hope you have good tires with some tread
Rev the car (no e-brake) to about 4.5kRPM and start to slowly release the clutch
Control your "clutch release speed" as the wheels start to turn - you want the slightest bit of tire spin while searching for traction
Once the clutch is all the way out, be ready to shift into 2nd
When you smell clutch, stop and save up for a better one

Invest 30 bucks in a g-tech to see what techniques are working for you, and which ones aren't.

I'm over my street racing, but I still remember how. ;) Those 2 years I did in jew-vee scared me out of it. Now it's all about 3 honks.
